We'll also be becoming TIME TRAVELLERS and making DINOSAUR SKELETONS!!
R.E. is full of lovely ideas around our School Value this week of Respect and we have a two week calendar full of mindfulness activities for PSHE. Enjoy :)

We have also included our 'Value of the Week' and our R.E. section is full of lovely idea's you can do around this. Hope you enjoy!
Here is the Home Learning for week commencing 4th May 2020. This week we are becoming FOSSIL HUNTERS! Magnifying glasses at the ready! We then embrace our creative sides with a little musical number... the T-REX RAP!! and have a go at creating some musical instruments.
In phonics we will be exploring some new alternative sounds while in maths we take a look at subtraction/taking way! We also look at 'The Parable of the lost sheep' in R.E. Lots of fun to be had, enjoy!
Here is the Home Learning for week commencing 27th April 2020. This week we, very excitedly, FIND OUT WHAT IS IN THE EGG!! The children will then embark on a research project, with help from books and the internet, to find out everything they can about what kind of dinosaur they think it is. A T-Rex? A Pterodactyl? A Stegosaurus? A Diplodocus? or A Triceratops? They can then create a 'habitat box' to show they are ready to take on the challenge of looking after a dinosaur!
Children will also be looking at the story of 'Noah's Ark' in R.E, exploring addition in maths, learning some more 'alternative' sounds in phonics and writing from a pictorial stimulus in Literacy. Enjoy!
Here is the Home Learning for week commencing 20th April 2020. Our new topic is called 'Out of the Egg' and children will enjoy thinking about what creature might be ready to hatch out of the strange looking giant egg that was found at school!! They will then choose an animal and research it, with help from the internet and books: how is it born? What does it eat? Where does it live? Can you find out a WOW fact?
Children will also be looking at the creation story in RE, exploring length, height and distance in maths, learning new 'alternative' sounds in phonics and have a go at writing about their Easter holidays.
